Dora 0 Posted November 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2015 When last we saw Dora, she was following a man down the path on level three trying to find someone to help her with the <<Worn Out Welcome>> quest. Her request fell upon deaf ears, and she was refused assistance. The little explorer took this rejection in stride. She knew not everyone would be so willing to help out a little girl all she needed was to find the right sucker for the job. She needed to find herself an onii-chan. Big brother types were rather difficult to find in a landscape like SAO. In games like this, lone wolves or knights in shining armor were far more common: gamers were loners by nature, and the ones that weren’t were desperately trying to find themselves a girlfriend, even if it was only an online one. Big brothers were generally nice guys, usually willing to help out anyone. In the real world they typically were older brothers with close relationships with their own siblings. Onii-chans were unicorns of the gaming world. However, Dora the Explorer knew one thing about unicorns: you didn’t go looking for them, they would come to you. So that’s what she was going to do, wait until she met her unicorn. The little girl paced along the path through the field of tampopo batting at the white seed pods as the fluttered through the breeze. Hours passed with her playing about but she was determined to see this out. So far everyone who passed didn’t meet the criteria and then after some time no one came at all. She simply had to wait. Eventually there came a passerby: a lithe man in blood stained armor and long auburn hair. Isadora stopped and stared for a moment watching the figure move toward her. Sentinels like him always got her attention. There was something about their size and stature that Dora found herself captivated by. Maybe it was because she envied them a bit, being nothing but a mere slip of a girl. A bright smile formed over her thin lips as he passed her by. The man looked down at her as he moved along and returned the smile. He said nothing to her and continued on his way. There was something kind and sincere in his expression that led the little girl to believe that she had found her mark. Without hesitation, little Dora turned on her heel and began to follow the man hoping she had found herself a big brother who would help her out.
Tristan Delaney 0 Posted November 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Tristan lately had been rather...lacking of things to do. With him doing all the big events with other players or soon underway and not any particularly impressive quests i in the horizon, Tristan had been lately debating what he could be spending his time doing in the meantime. Maybe he should find some low levels so he could complete the two beginner quests he never actually did for himself, since at the time he had Lessa forge him a bunch of gear, so the quests were rather useless to him as it was. He thought about it all and stroked his chin in thought, then decided to go for a wander for any there may be. While wandering he noticed a small girl, couldn't be older than 13 or so, smiled at him randomly. It wasn't too much of a surprise, considering his reputation, but he wasn't expecting it nonetheless and smiled back, then moved on. However he noticed the light tapping still behind him and he turned on his heel to behind to see the little girl. "Can I help you?" he asked in his normal polite british tone.
